The 1980s Behike
I get asked very frequently about The Havana, a 1992 documentary which currently appears on YouTube here.
It’s a nice documentary, covering the basics of tobacco production that anybody who has been around cigars for a couple of years will be familiar with, but it is one specific shot at 43:51 that has prompted the unending emails in my inbox (not to mention a lot of cockamamie conspiracy theories).
As far as people are aware, the name Behike was first used for the Cohiba 40th anniversary humidor in 2006, so why, enquiring minds want to know, are there BEHIKE labels on display at El Laguito in 1992?
